Shipping & Returns

By accessing, browsing or purchasing from kitepower.com.au you signify your acceptance of the following (and reasonable) shipping & returns policy:

  • In most cases, goods are delivered to residents in Australia by Australia Post. Items valued at over $100 are sent by Registered Post or Courier - which will require a signature on delivery (so someone needs to be at the shipping address to sign during normal business hours).
  • We offer free shipping on orders valued over $200 (a signature is required). Items longer than 1m or heavier than 10kg may need to be sent via a Courier, and cannot be sent to a PO Box. We will contact you if this is the case, and you will need to provide a daytime address where someone can sign for the goods upon delivery.
  • If you return an item that was shipped for free and because you changed you mind, we will deduct a reasonable shipping fee from the refund for the item you returned.

*Free Shipping excludes certain large items, like surfboards wing/sup foil boards and large bulky items like travel bags.

Shipping to Remote locations:

If you purchase a bulky item* and are located in a remote location we will most likely contact you via phone or email to settle on a shipping fee.

In general, if the shipping fee comes out to be more than 10% (full price) or 5% (sale price) of the value of the order we will ask you to pay the difference.

Eg.

  • For full priced orders, if an order has a value of $500 and the most affordable shipping option available is $60 we will request $10 for shipping.
  • For sale priced orders, if an order has a value of $500 and the most affordable shipping option available is $60 we will request $35 for shipping.

*defined as having a packing length longer than 105cm and/or heavier than 2kgs.

Refunds

We will charge a fee (which is simply the non refundable fee charged to Kitepower by the credit card processor) if you use the the payment link on our invoices. The fee is 2.5% of the sale amount and will be deducted from your refund. This condition ONLY applies to payments made through the link on our invoices.

If you purchase directly from our website and pay via the website there will be no refund fee, and the same applies to PayPal payments as neither of these payment gateways charge non refundable fees on payments.

After years of development, Keith Teboul and the design team’s pinnacle of design is finally here.

Through hundreds of prototypes for the team and customers, pulling design concepts from America’s Cup yachts, downwind canoes, and SUP race boards, the team focused on peak performance and stability in the water, early takeoff, and ultimate control in the air. The Ginxu Dragonfly has a low nose entry with beveled rails and a recessed deck through the paddling stance position to provide the added stability needed to get going even in the most demanding seas or choppy conditions. With a slight displacement hull through the nose and mid-section, which transfers to our patented Ginxu step bottom in front of the foil boxes, this foil board easily increases its forward acceleration with each pump to get you up and onto your foil with minimal effort. The added tail kick streamlines your paddling without locking you into your tracks. The tail provides a quick clean release off the back and immediately gets out of the way as the step bottom allows you to pump, take off and fly. With its lightweight construction and 16” tracks for optimal foil positioning, you can perform hard carves in tight sections and pump to your next swell much easier. The Ginxu Dragonfly is the go-to choice for any open water foiler looking to Sup or prone downwind, flat water pop-up, or paddle in early on rolling swells. From 6’6” to 8’4”, there are options for all sizes and skill levels to get into this amazing new foiling experience.

Carbon Monocoque. The deck and stance area are integrated into the hull via a Carbon Monocoque. By bonding the carbon to the core through vaccum lamination, we ensure its superior material qualities get translated into the body of the board, creating a supremely light and stiff hull.

Materials:

Carbon. The entire board gets vacuum laminated in Plain Weave Carbon. Additionally, the deck receives Uni-Directional Carbon coverage for ultimate structural strength. Lastly the padded stance area is reinforced with Biaxial Carbon, providing all the benefits of high-end non-crimp fabrics.
