Australia Post Express will take 1-3 business days, usually 1 day if the delivery address is within the next day guarantee area
Australia Post Parcel Post takes 3-5 business days to most other areas of Australia.
Courier - we use various courier brands and choose the least costly with the speediest service and typically take 3-5 business days. (remote areas like NW Australia, NT and Northern QLD can take a couple of days longer)
Shipping Terms
By accessing, browsing or purchasing from kitepower.com.au you signify your acceptance of the following (and reasonable) shipping & returns policy:
- In most cases, goods are delivered to residents in Australia by Australia Post. Items valued at over $100 are sent by Registered Post or Courier - which will require a signature on delivery (so someone needs to be at the shipping address to sign during normal business hours).
- We offer free shipping on orders valued over $200 (a signature is required). Items longer than 1m or heavier than 10kg may need to be sent via a Courier, and cannot be sent to a PO Box. We will contact you if this is the case, and you will need to provide a daytime address where someone can sign for the goods upon delivery.
- If you return an item that was shipped for free and because you changed you mind, we will deduct a reasonable shipping fee from the refund for the item you returned.
- Shipping times are estimates and NOT guaranteed unless a premium overnight service is purchased, this will need to be arranged over the phone or via e-mail if you need something by a specific date. *Free Shipping excludes certain large items, like surfboards wing/sup foil boards and large bulky items like travel bags.
Shipping to Remote locations:
If you purchase a bulky item* and are located in a remote location we will most likely contact you via phone or email to settle on a shipping fee.
In general, if the shipping fee comes out to be more than 10% (full price) or 5% (sale price) of the value of the order we will ask you to pay the difference.
Eg.
- For full priced orders, if an order has a value of $500 and the most affordable shipping option available is $60 we will request $10 for shipping.
- For sale priced orders, if an order has a value of $500 and the most affordable shipping option available is $60 we will request $35 for shipping.
*defined as having a packing length longer than 105cm and/or heavier than 2kgs.
Refunds
We will charge a fee (which is simply the non refundable fee charged to Kitepower by the credit card processor) if you use the the payment link on our invoices. The fee is 2.5% of the sale amount and will be deducted from your refund. This condition ONLY applies to payments made through the link on our invoices.
If you purchase directly from our website and pay via the website there will be no refund fee, and the same applies to PayPal payments as neither of these payment gateways charge non refundable fees on payments.

Designed using the same proprietary data that created our Carbon Elite hard-shell shape, the frame of the Saber is built with a slightly more pliable composite material for the kitesurfer or windsurfer that wants a bit more freedom in their ride. The injected-molded shell has purpose-driven contours that deliver increased torsional flex while still providing the full benefits of Lumbar Lock fit with that coveted Ride Engine locked-in feel. The Saber comes equipped with Unity Ladder-Lock Straps so it’s ready to plug into our Unity Spreader Bar, eliminating spreader bar twist and maximum connectivity.

- SES SHELL - SES (Structurally Engineered Shell) is a unique blend of composite moldable materials with computer-aided structural engineering. The SES enhances the flex properties of this hard-shell harness while retaining a high level of fit, support and connection.
- UNITY SPREADER BAR - Our patent-pending “set it and forget it” spreader bar system that creates a solid, stable connection. The Unity Spreader Bar applies an ingenious design utilizing custom-molded Unity Ladder-Lock Straps, thereby eliminating the use of traditional webbing and providing an unrivaled, no slip, locked-in fit.
- LUMBAR LOCK - A scientifically supported data shape from more than 1000 custom molds, the Lumbar Lock conforms and cradles your lumbar, back and sides to lock the harness securely in place. These enhanced ergonomics ensure that you get the maximum support out of your harness—no more harness sliding side-to-side or riding up.
- LOW PROFILE DESIGN - Low-profile framework contributes to a perfect fit and maximum mobility while keeping the harness locked in place and eliminating pressure points.
- HANDLE-PASS AND FRONT-MOUNTED LEASH ATTACHMENTS - For freestyle riders, the harness comes with handle-pass-leash mount around the back (which is easy to remove for windsurfing). It also has two forward-mounted D-ring leash attachment points for use when a short leash is utilized.
